Christopher D. Chapman, president of Chapman Lean Enterprise (CLE) is a senior certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt continuous improvement specialist with extensive experience across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, education, and construction.  Chris has over 20 years of management, quality engineering, and lean process improvement experience from Delphi, Eastman Kodak, the Center for Excellence in Lean Enterprise (CELE) at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and CLE.  In his position as Senior Program Manager at CELE RIT, Chris developed and delivered Lean training workshops for nearly two thousand trainees, facilitated dozens of rapid process improvement projects (kaizens), trained and coached Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt students to complete certification requirements, and provided consultation to over ninety local, national, and international businesses.   He was also part of a team that helped develop The Environmental Professional's Guide to Lean and Six Sigma for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  As a manager and quality engineer at Delphi and Eastman Kodak, he successfully implemented, managed, and sustained lean production systems.

Chris holds a Bachelor Degree with honors in Business Administration from Fayetteville State University, and a Master Degree of Manufacturing Leadership from the Kate Gleason College of Engineering, Rochester Institute of Technology. He has presented workshops at numerous conferences and written articles for leading trade journals such as Quality Progress, Institute of Industrial Engineers, and Occupational Hazards.
